If you’re a seasoned RV camper, you already know exactly what to pack to make sure that all of your travel needs are met. You are a pro at packing light, while still making sure you have all the comforts of home while on the road. However, our team at Indiana RV wants you to remember that camping isn’t just about survival, it’s about fun! We’ve put together a short list of things you need to add to your packing list this fall to make your family camping trip extra fun.

Camping Fun

1. Outdoor Games

When camping, there is always plenty to do in the way of hiking, swimming, mountain biking, and other campground activities. However, at some point during the day, you are going to find yourself hanging out at the RV and that is where outdoor games come in handy. Some great options to pack are a volleyball net, cornhole boards and bags, horseshoes, or just a football or baseball to toss around. These are great ways to keep your family entertained and active.

2. A Portable Grill

Yes, you can use your RV kitchen to cook, but outdoor cooking on a grill is just more fun! The grill makes cooking up some hamburgers, hotdogs, or whatever else you want to have easy and will eliminate a mess inside the RV. As an added bonus, cooking outside means you won’t be stuck inside preparing food and missing out on all the fun!

3. S’mores Supplies

When you’re on a camping trip and enjoying a campfire at the end of the day, you’ll be kicking yourself if you didn’t remember to pack the s’mores supplies. Get some sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate, and relax around the campfire, telling stories with the ones you love.
